The warehouse of Svizera Europe BV is in conformity with the regulations of The Dutch Ministry of Health of the Netherlands. This is monitored by our ISO 9001:2015 and on regular basis audited by the Dutch Authorities.

Well-trained personnel control the traffic of the material and goods flow based on the various Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) in place. Our warehouse is equipped with a climate control system for constant temperature. The control and registration of the system is controlled and checked by the Quality Department.As we are specialized in the assembly of kits, our warehouse has a separate assembly area. The assembly is specifically equipped for kit activities. Svizera Europe is hence able to produce a high volume of kits.

Our warehouse has several working sections – working stations:

•   Incoming goods/products area
•   Quarantine area of 4 sections
•   Storage area with 1000 pallet locations (including a bonded warehouse area) in Almere office
•   External DG storage with 500 pallet places
•   Separate Assembly Area
•   External Cold Chain Facility
•   Control section
•   Outgoing area

Storage area

The majority of the warehouse is a bonded warehouse, a secured area where we store goods from outside Europe under supervision of the custom authorities, until they are to leave Europe again.

The bonded warehouse gives Svizera Europe the flexibility to ship emergency orders without customs delay.

• The warehouse has a normal and a specialized loading dock which are separated from the warehouse by a locking chamber.
• The location is well-situated and is equipped to handle several 40ft containers a day and two 40ft containers (one incoming and one outgoing) at the same time.
• Goods can always be collected from one location.

Dangerous Goods Storage: Laboratory, Chemical & Reagents

To comply with the special requirement, the chemicals and reagents will be handled by an external warehouse, which is specialized to handle and store the chemical and reagents. Svizera Europe has ongoing contracts to secure storage space in these warehouses.

Although we are obliged to store in an external warehouse, the Quality Control is equivalent to that of Svizera Europe’s internal procedures and are monitored by Svizera Europe BV as well.
